We're on the lookout for an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Backend Developer to join our team!At Benjamin, we're passionate about rewarding everyday actions through our MoMo’s (Money Moments). Benjamin is a new cash-rewards platform for consumers, merchants and gamers to earn cash, called Benjamin Money Moments, by completing daily tasks, playing casual games, viewing content and ads, and making everyday card purchases with cash back. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop cloud services with modern technologies (Node.js, Express, Fastify, NestJS, SQS, Lamda, etc.) Implement performant database solutions using PostgreSQL and PostGIS. Ensure in co-operation with the product manager that tasks within the development backlog are comprehensively defined and structured, enabling straightforward implementation by developers, ensuring technical feasibility. Work collaboratively with other developers, architects and product managers to ensure system consistency and reflect business objectives in technical implementations. Maintain and improve code quality through continuous integration, code review, and automated deployments using Git and Jira. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in backend development with a proven track record of successful projects. Expertise in TypeScript, along with extensive knowledge of Node.js frameworks 5 years in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL Familiarity with AWS cloud services Ideal Candidate: Exhibits strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring junior developers and leading by example in all phases of the development lifecycle. Has extensive experience with AWS Cloud environments Is an agile, adaptive team player who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments typical of startups.
